8 God's strong name is our help, the same God who made heaven and earth.

Let's make our entire lives fit and holy temples for the worship of God.

Then the God who lifts up the downcast lifted our heads and our hearts

You let the distress bring you to God, not drive you from him. The result was all gain, no loss.

We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. Our tools are ready at hand for clearing the ground of every obstruction and building lives of obedience into maturity.

11-13And that's about it, friends. Be cheerful. Keep things in good repair. Keep your spirits up. Think in harmony. Be agreeable. Do all that, and the God of love and peace will be with you for sure.
